MCD2960 is an integrated chip for FM/FSK receiver and transmitter, suitable for UHF and VHF wireless transmission. The chip integrates several major functions: high-performance PLL frequency synthesis, multiple regulated outputs, signal amplification and demodulation, audio processing, squelch, hands-free, and digital control. The main functional modules includes: LDO regulator, PLL, crystal oscillator, ROM and MCU interface control module, first and second intermediate frequency amplifiers, second frequency mixer, demodulator, RSSI detection, squelch, high-pass and low-pass filters, volume adjustment and mute, audio amplifier, microphone amplifier, and VOX. The operating voltage range of MCD2930 is 3.2V-6.5V, which meets the power supply application requirements of most handheld devices. The chip integrates most of circuits of the transceiver, thus only a small number of external devices are needed to form a complete transceiver.
